ITIL/ITSM Overviews
ITSM / ITIL Overview sessions provide participants with an introduction to ITIL Version 3 and ITSM, an overview of the concepts within the ITIL Best Practices and an introduction to key ITIL processes.
Offerings explain on a high level how the ITIL processes integrate to provide smooth functioning of organizations and ensure high-quality services to their customers. They can be used to provide general familiarity with the language and context of ITSM / ITIL, encourage buy-in for and support of process improvement and ensure that efforts are broadly understood and communicated.
Delivery Details
Sessions are usually delivered in facilitator-led formats from two to eight hour options and are also available in on-line formats. Session content of facilitator-led sessions may be customized to meet the needs of the particular audience. Audiences who might benefit from content adjustment include groups needing a stronger focus on particular process areas or groups with existing v2 Foundation certification who need a brief introduction to v3.
Note: Because Awareness sessions are of durations of one day or less, many options exist for delivering multiple sessions in a single day and/or delivering one or more Awareness sessions during the same calendar week and geographical location as another Third Sky training offering.
